I've been frequenting your blog like an addict almost every day- 3 years so far. Let me brief how I was impressed by your great work. I got to know you when you were on NBT. Then I visited your website and have gained countless knowledge on English and worldviews. I also used your blog as a great resource for my TOEFL/GRE tests that I could win a scholarship for a graduate study in the US. Still I'm your blog follower. Further, your blog is the great great learning resource when I'm doing paperwork for my study. Most importantly, as a religious person, you had introduced to me the website that later changed and how I practice Buddhism. Therefore, I better understand the greatest religion in the universe and this is much more valuable to me than the English language itself. The website is " wwww.fungdham.net" I practiced meditation since I was 14 and encountered many mind-and-soul phenomena that were unexplainable by myself for many years. Now I'm so thankful for the chance to know your blog.
Thank you again.
NiponNprompilainoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3682490348175452299.post-80685916253208873872011-02-27T15:58:03.086+07:002011-02-27T15:58:03.086+07:00Khun Nprompilai krub,

Oftentimes, I speak to native people they can't catch what I say,not because of the wrong pronunciations I make, but the unfamiliar prosody and intonation. Familiarity does matter when verbally communicating. I dare to say, as a Thai teacher of English, grammatically, that most Thai people will speak better than some English native speakers even they with their own accents, but with appropriate speed, prosody and decent pronunciation. Most importantly, the culture and the language is intertwined, it cannot be separated.Nprompilainoreply@blogger.com
